1958 Chevrolet Impala

When this vehicle was purchased several years ago, it was, for the most part, still all original with only a very old paint job having been done to the car. As car shows came and went, the owner realized that some work was needed.

First upgrades were to add the air ride system to the car and a dual master cylinder. Then the car was painted in its original Cashmere Blue with Artic White top. A complete new original style interior was installed with a custom upholstered trunk compartment. It was at this time also that the numerous subtle custom changes and features were also added such as red LED running lights in the rear chrome roof scallop.

Next was a full engine bay detail and restoration including a full engine rebuild and the installation of an overdrive transmission. This also was when the "12 Pack" carburetor setup was added along with front disc brakes. Air conditioning was also added utilizing the factory heater controls to operate the A/C, heat and defroster. A tachometer, water temperature and oil pressure gauges were installed and fit into the accessory tissue dispenser that can be swung out during use and hidden when parked.

This car has been a featured car at the "World of Wheels" show in Boston.
